On 15 July 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., and Chair of the ASEAN Committee in Washington (ACW), hosted a working lunch for the Honorable Christopher Landau, Deputy Secretary of State, and ACW at Baan Siam, Washington, D.C. In attendance were the Ambassadors of Cambodia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Viet Nam, and the Chargés d’Affaires a.i. of Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, and Myanmar. The group discussed ways to further advance the ASEAN-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership as well as exchanged views on regional and international issues of shared interest.
