On 31 January 2024, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat hosted a luncheon in honour of Jedidiah P. Royal, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Indo-Pacific Security Affairs. They discussed ways to enhance security cooperation and prepare for the upcoming Thailand-US Strategic and Defense Dialogue, which will be held in Bangkok at the end of February 2024. Both sides aim to strengthen the cooperation in all aspects, especially cybersecurity, joint exercises, International Military Education and Training (IMET), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS).
