On 1 November 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat was invited to attend the Embassies of the World reception to receive Star of Culture Award from the America-Eurasia Center in recognition for the excellent organization of the reception celebrating Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s 90th Birthday Anniversary, held at The Ritz-Carlton Washington D.C. on 11 August 2022.

At the reception, there was an exhibition on Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s birth, her great work in reviving and developing the Thai culture in various fields, particularly Thai handicraft and Thai fabrics as well as her contributions to the Thai-US relations. The reception also showcased Thai music and dance performances, the art of Thai vegetable and fruits carving as well as the Thai cuisine to Friends of Thailand from various sectors in Washington D.C. and the vicinities.
