On 29 August 2023, Ambassador Tanee presented a certificate of appreciation from H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Rep.Scott Peters (D-CA), through his representative as he is currently out of D.C. on duty. The certificate was granted as a token of appreciation for the Congressman’s role in accepting to co-chair the U.S.-Thai Alliance Caucus with Rep. Michelle Steel, (R-CA).

The U.S. - Thai Alliance Caucus was recently re-established in July 2023 as a mechanism in Congress to serve as a platform to further enhance our relationship with the Hill while advancing Thai-U.S. interests in all dimensions.
