On 10 December 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat hosted a luncheon in honour of Air Chief Marshal Panpakdee Pattanakul, Chief of Royal Thai Air Force, who is paying a visit to the US. They discussed the state of Thai – US relations, especially military cooperation and Thailand’s
procurement plans for military weapons and equipment, and preparation for the visits of Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Prime Minister. The Ambassador thanked the Offices of Defense and Military Attaché, the Naval Attaché, and the Air Attaché for their support for Sawasdee DC Thai Festival and the National Day.
