On 7 April 2024, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat presided over the opening ceremony of the NVA Thai Market at the Manassas Museum playground in Virginia.

Ambassador Tanee commended the founders and executives of NVA Thai Center LLC for their initiative and dedication in organizing this weekend market to showcase Thainess in its various aspects. He expressed hope for the market to later expand and eventually become the third Thai Town in the United States, after Los Angeles and New York.

Over 30 vendors participated in the event which drew a huge crowd that filled the lawn to enjoy a special selection of Thai delicacies while browsing and shopping products from Thailand. On this occasion, Mr. Suhas Subramanyam, a member of the Virginia General Assembly, and Mrs. Michelle Davis-Younger, the Mayor of Manassas, were also present, to offer their congratulatory remarks and tour the market.
