On 24 March 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington D.C., in collaboration with Thai communities across the US, held the inaugural "Ambassador's Cup 2024" soccer competition at Bryant High School in Virginia. The aim was to strengthen community relations and networks among Thai nationals residing in the US.

Thai community soccer teams from Washington D.C., Virginia, New York and Los Angeles participated in the tournament. The team from New York emerged victorious, defeating the Washington D.C. team in the final match and claiming the Ambassador's Cup for 2024. In addition to the soccer competition, there was a friendly match between Team Thailand in Washington DC, led by the Ambassador, and the Thai Community team. The event drew smiles and fostered camaraderie, aligning with the Embassy's objective of promoting unity and friendly relations among the Thai communities across the U.S.
