On 20 June 2024, Mr. John Goyer, Executive Director for Southeast Asia at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (USCC), hosted a welcome lunch for H.E. Mr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., on the occasion of his assumption of duty. Representatives of 12 U.S. leading companies also attended.

Ambassador Suriya reaffirmed the Thai Government’s commitment to its pro-business policies and efforts to promote investment in Thailand. He highlighted key investment sectors, including semiconductors, electric vehicles, green finance, and the Land Bridge Project. He also expressed his readiness to work closely with the USCC and U.S. private sector to further strengthen the economic relations between the two nations.
