On 13 - 14 January 2024, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat and DCM Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, took part in the 2024 National Children's Day activities at Thai temples in the DMV areas.

 

On 13 January 2024, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat and his spouse, Mrs. Cholatip Kambhu Sangrat, participated in the National Children's Day activity at Wat Yarnna Rangsee, Virginia. The Ambassador presided over the opening ceremony, and joined the children in various activities including Thai dances, Muay Thai demonstration and lucky draws. He also watched the presentation by representatives from the

Loudoun County Sheriff's Department who also lent a police car to be displayed at the event.

 

On 14 January 2024, Ms. Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, attended the Children's Day activity at Wat Thai Washington, D.C. The event featured lessons in  Thai culture, games, lucky draws, a demonstration from fire fighters, and a lesson in environmental education by the National Park Rangers.

There were also police cars and a fire brigade on display, which drew the attention of both the children and the parents.

The events achieved a great turnout while presenting a welcome opportunity to strengthen the Thai-American communities in the respective areas.
