On August 27, 2024, Ambassador Suriya Chindawongse led Team Thailand officials and staff in Washington, D.C. to offer a variety of lunch options including Thai dishes such as Pad Thai, garlic chicken, and Thai fried rice to over 50 homeless individuals at the Georgetown Ministry Center,  on the occasion of the Birthday Anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, on August 12, 2024.
