On Friday, July 12, 2024, Ambassador Suriya Chindawongse met with representatives of the Thai community in Washington, D.C. and nearby areas, following his assumption of office as the Thai Ambassador to the United States.

 

On this occasion, the Ambassador gave brief remarks by emphasizing his two main roles. First is to promote the interests and closer ties between Thailand and the United States in all dimensions and second is to further enhance the welfare of the Thai community. He took this opportunity to thank all participants for their continued support and cooperation while welcoming feedback and suggestions in order for the Embassy and relevant Thai agencies to better serve the community.
