On 21 March 2024, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat, and Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce and the Board of Trade of Thailand, co-chaired a hybrid Team Thailand meeting of economic agencies, or “Team Thailand Plus.” Participants at the meeting included 50 representatives from economic agencies under the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington DC and all three Royal Thai Consulates in the US, as well as representatives from Thai companies and business organizations in the US.

The meeting facilitated the exchange of information and views on opportunities and challenges for further enhancing the value of trade and investment with the US, particularly focusing on strategies to promote Thai products in the US market. The meeting also provided a platform for Thai business organizations and associations, such as Thai - American Chamber of Commerce of California (TCCC), America’s Thai chamber of commerce San Diego, Thai Restaurant Association of America (TRAA) and the NVA Thai Market, to introduce their organizations which helped foster networking and synergy between Team Thailand and Thai businesses in the US.
