On 30 January 2023, Ambassador Tanee Sangrat met with Erin Barclay, Acting Assistant Secretary of Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL), Department of State, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation on democracy and human rights where Acting AS Barclay also commended Thailand’s leading role on advancing LGBTQI+ rights.
