On 26 November 2024, Ambassador Suriya Chindawongse led Team Thailand officials and staff in Washington, D.C. to deliver over 120 sets of winter clothing as well as ready-to-eat dried food and snacks, and healthy drinks to the homeless residents of the Central Union Mission in Washington, D.C. This volunteer activity was held to commemorate the Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, and Thailand’s Father's Day, which is observed on 5 December 2024.
