On 30 July 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., met with the Honorable Allison Hooker, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs, at the Department of State. Both sides reaffirmed the long-standing Thai-U.S. alliance and strategic partnership, and discussed ways to further strengthen the close alliance and bilateral relations and enhance cooperation on regional security and issues of shared interests.
