On February 25, 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., in collaboration with ThingstodoDC, a nonprofit organization, held a contemporary Thai music event in three genres, namely: traditional Thai music, international music, and electronic dance music (EDM). The artists included BOTCASH and FAI from the Boom Boom Cash band, the Dokfin band, a Thai music band based in Washington DC and the surrounding areas, and the M.Bassy band of the Royal Thai Embassy.

The event was attended by more than 150 people, comprising members of ThingstodoDC and the general public interested in Thailand. Thai food from Sisters Thai restaurant and Thai beer such as Singha, Chang beer as well as Joy Boy IPA - a beer brand from Thai entrepreneurs in the U.S. - offered participants a taste of Thailand. Thailand's economic potential and information on tourism were also on display for those interested in learning more about how to travel to or invest in Thailand.

The event showcased the talents and potential of Thai artists and entrepreneurs, both from Thailand and within the U.S. The Royal Thai Embassy wishes to thank all of the participating Thai artists, entrepreneurs, volunteer photographers as well as ThingstodoDC for such a successful and memorable event.
