On 7 November 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a fifteenth day merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at Wat Thai Washington, D.C. 

The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., and attended by heads of Thai government agencies under "Team Thailand" in the U.S., along with officials, staffs and their families, as well as members of the Thai communities in the Washington, D.C. and nearby States.

On this occasion, the Ambassador led the attendees in an activity to express their devotion through prayer and meditation to do good deeds according to religious teachings, dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

The Royal Thai Embassy will hold a fiftieth day merit ceremony on 31 January 2025, at 10.00 hrs. at Wat Thai Washington, D.C.
