On 10 January 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States, along with Ms. Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, attended the 64th International Red Cross Ball at The Breakers Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Florida. Members of the diplomatic corps were also invited.

The International Red Cross Ball is an annual charity dinner hosted by American philanthropists, aimed at raising funds to support the American Red Cross in its efforts to alleviate the hardships faced by Americans affected by natural disasters, including the forest fires in Los Angeles which has affected some members of the Thai community. This year’s Ball welcomed more than 480 distinguished guests and raised a record-breaking $2.45 million to support disaster relief efforts across the United States.
