On January 21, 2025, Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States, hosted a dinner for Friends of Thailand and representatives from the Florida-based private sector at the Ambassador's Residence to show appreciation for their continued support and cooperation. The event was attended by notable figures, including Mr. Michael George Desombre, former U.S. Ambassador to Thailand; Lieutenant General Michael Flynn, the 24th National Security Advisor under President Trump in 2017; columnists and media representatives from Newsmax and Crave News; and the founders and CEO of the Latino Wall Street, an empowering financial multimedia platform that is the foremost authority in analyzing global financial markets for the Latino community in the United States.

Representatives from the Florida-based U.S. private sector, who traveled to attend President Trump's inauguration ceremony, were also present, including Mr. James Windham and his wife, Ms. Supunnee Windham, as well as Mr. Philip Nicozisis and his wife, Ms. Thapanee Fongkam.
