On 6 August 2025, Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the US, presided over a ceremony to present a royal offering
and lay a floral tribute before the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. The Ambassador also led officials and spouses of Team Thailand in Washington, D.C., in signing a book of well-wishes in honor of Her Majesty’s Birthday Anniversary on 12 August 2025 at the Royal Thai Embassy.

In the afternoon, the Ambassador presided over a Buddhist prayer ceremony at Wat Yarnna Rangsee, Washington, D.C. - Virginia, dedicating merit to Her Majesty on this auspicious occasion. The ceremony was attended by heads and officials of Team Thailand
and their spouses.
