Experience Thai music, cultural performances, art, and cuisine at the Royal Thai Embassy's Open House in the heart of Georgetown on May 4th from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Begin your journey with a rich variety of traditional, contemporary and modern Thai music, followed by captivating Thai classical dance performances and a live Muay Thai (Thai kick-boxing) demonstration. Browse through exquisite paintings by Thai artists, of which all proceeds will be donated to charity. And finally, indulge in the relaxing Nuad Thai (Thai massage) and satisfy your taste buds with authentic Thai cuisine!

Stage Program

• Traditional Thai music and classical dance performance by Somapa Thai Dance Company
• Contemporary music by the M. Bassy Band
• Jazz performance by the DC Jazz Collective
• Muay Thai (Thai kick-boxing) demonstration by the Little Giant Gym
• Nuad Thai (Thai massage) demonstration by Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America
• T-Pop dance performance
• Trivia quiz with lots of prizes

Features Activites 

• Thai food, dessert, and drink – free samples from the Royal Thai Embassy, and many more variety from selected Thai restaurants available for purchase.
• Nuad Thai (Thai massage) trial sessions – free!
• Original paintings by Thai artists and Thai students donated to Cancer Fighters Arts. All sales of donated artworks will go toward cancer institutions, cancer treatment and prevention efforts, and cancer patient support
• Kids' corner
• Thai traditional musical instrument trial session
• Thailand photo booth
• Exhibition on Thai-U.S. relations
• Thai arts and crafts displayed around the Embassy
• Information on Thai tourism, Thai products, Thai fruits and many more
