On 12 September 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States, accompanied by Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand in New York, and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. and Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York, met with Professor Jeremy Weinstein, Dean of the Harvard Kennedy School, to explore potential avenues for academic collaboration between the Kennedy School and Thai institutions.

The discussion covered areas such as policy research partnerships, faculty exchanges, and leadership development programs. Ambassador Suriya also addressed the importance of ongoing support for Thai students studying at Harvard, reaffirming the Embassy’s commitment to strengthening educational ties with U.S. institutions.
