On 29 October 2025, representatives of the diplomatic corps, Thai citizens and various U.S. sectors as well as a representative from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints signed the Book of Condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Royal Thai Embassy.

The participants include Ambassadors of the Republic of Indonesia, Republic of Singapore, and Republic of Costa Rica to the U.S.;

Mr. Marc Mealy, Executive Vice President of Research and Chief Policy Officer and staff of the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC);

Ms. Jean DeSombre, Spouse of Mr. Michael G. DeSombre, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs, U.S. Department of State;

Ms. Sachiyo Kubo, Spouse of Mr. Sean O’Neill, U.S. Ambassador-designate to Thailand; and

Ms. Nadkanittha Blackshaw, Spouse of Mr. Brett Blackshaw, Senior Advisor, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Department of State.

The Royal Thai Embassy opens a Book of Condolences for signing at the Embassy's chancery from 28 - 31 October 2025, between 09.30 - 16.30 hrs.
