On 30 October 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a seventh day merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at Wat Thai Washington, D.C. The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., and attended by heads of Thai government agencies under “Team Thailand” in the U.S., along with officials, staffs and their families, as well as members of the Thai communities in the Washington, D.C. and nearby States.

On this occasion, Phravidesratanaphorn, President of Wat Thai Washington, D.C. led Team Thailand and members of the Thai community in a transformative session of practicing the dhamma and meditation, dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, aiming at elevating their mind and perpetuating Her Majesty’s remarkable legacy.

The Royal Thai Embassy will hold a fifteenth day merit ceremony on 7 November 2025, at 10.00 hrs. at Wat Thai Washington, D.C.
