On 2 January 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States, signed the Register of Condolence on the demise of the Honourable James Earl Carter, Jr., at the Department of State.
Ambassador Suriya also sent a message of condolences to the Carter Family through the Carter Center based in Atlanta, Georgia.
