On 13 January 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organized a special ceremony to commemorate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua attaining the same age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I) at Yarnna Rangsee Temple in Virginia.

The ceremony was presided by Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the United States of America, with participation from officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand, along with their families, as well as members of the Thai community from Washington D.C. and neighboring states.
