During 30 June - 1 July 2026, the Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., led by Mr. Vasu Srivarathonbul, Head of the Consular Section, provided consular services at Wat Saddhadhamma Buddhist Temple in San Antonio, Texas. The mission aimed to facilitate access to consular services for Thai nationals residing in Texas and nearby states. The services provided included issuance of new passports, renewal of national identification cards, and submission of applications for birth and death certificates, as well as consultations on other consular matters, including legalization of documents and powers of attorney. This mission
is the seventh mobile consular service operation of the Fiscal Year 2026. It was successfully carried out with the support and cooperation of Wat Saddhadhamma Buddhist Temple, members of the temple committee and local volunteers. A total of 167 individuals received the services, including 57 passport renewals and 62 renewals of national identification cards, as well as 48 cases of birth and death certificates applications and consultations on legalization and civil registration documents.
