Royal Thai Embassy Provides Mobile Consular Services at Buddhist Temple of Dallas

During 21-23 November 2025, the Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. , led by Mr. Vasu Srivarathonbul, Consular and Head of Counsellor section, provided consular services to Thai nationals residing in Texas and nearby states. The consular team facilitated the issuance of new passports, renewal of Thai national ID cards, applications for Thai birth and death certificates as well as offered consultations on various consular matters, including certification of official Thai documents, and powers of attorney. On 21 November 2025, a special walk-in service was provided for senior Thai citizens aged 70 and above to facilitate their access to the services.

 

The mobile consular service was successfully conducted with the generous support of the Mr. Pansak Sribhen, the President of the Thai Association of North Texas and his spouse, Mrs. Pacharee Sribhen, the Buddhist Temple of Dallas, and the local volunteers. In total, 236 individuals received consular services, including:

92 passport renewals

84 Thai national ID card renewals

10 applications for Thai Birth and Death certificates

50 consultations on other consular matters
