On 26 June 2025, Ambassador Suriya Chindawongse, along with officials and staff of Team Thailand in Washington, D.C., participated in a volunteer activity to commemorate the auspicious occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana.

The activity took place at Vida Senior Centers, the oldest Hispanic non-profit organization in Washington, D.C., dedicated to promoting the physical and emotional well-being of seniors through culturally and linguistically appropriate programs.

Ambassador Suriya and the delegation were warmly welcomed by Ms. Maria Teresa McPhail, CEO of Vida Senior Centers, who provided a briefing on the organization’s mission and services. On this occasion, Ambassador Suriya and Team Thailand presented a donation to Ms. McPhail and engaged with members of the center as a gesture of goodwill and community support.
