On 30 October 2025, Ms. Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., welcomed The Honorable Tammy Duckworth, United States Senator from the State of Illinois, and her mother Lamai Duckworth, at the Royal Thai Embassy, where she signed the Book of Condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

In her tribute, Senator Duckworth reflected on her childhood memories of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s charitable works while she was living in Thailand and expressed her profound sadness at the passing of Her Majesty, highlighting Her Majesty’s role as “Mother of the Nation.”

On the same day, the Ambassadors of Viet Nam and Cambodia to the United States, the Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam, Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Myanmar, as well as representatives from U.S. business sectors and Thai nationals also signed the Book of Condolences.
