On 28 October 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., together with officials and staff of “Team Thailand” in the U.S. and their spouses, paid tribute with deepest reverence and signed the Book of Condolences on the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Royal Thai Embassy. In this occasion, representatives of the U.S. Government and diplomatic corps were also present to sign the Book of Condolences including Mr. Jonathan Fritz, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, Department of State, Ambassador of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria and Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. of the Embassy of Malaysia in Washington, D.C.
The Royal Thai Embassy will open a Book of Condolences for signing at the Embassy's chancery from 28 - 31 October 2025, between 09.30 - 16.30 hrs.
