On 30 July 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., welcomed Vice Admiral Piboon Pirachaidecho, Director General, Naval Intelligence Department, and his delegation to the Royal Thai Embassy on the occasion of his visit to the United States to strengthen cooperation between the Royal Thai Navy and the U.S. Navy. They discussed Thai-U.S. defense and security relations as well as opportunities for further cooperation.
