On 18 September 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., met with the Honorable Elbridge Colby, Under Secretary of War for Policy, at the Pentagon. The two sides reaffirmed the long-standing Thai-U.S. alliance and exchanged views on ways to further enhance and concretize the security and defense partnership between the two countries to promote peace and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific.
