On 10 February 2023, Ms. Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, and Mrs. Pajita Diskul Na Ayudhya, Minister (Education), the Office of Educational Affairs, Royal Thai Embassy, met with Dr. Allan E. Goodman, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr. Leah Mason, Research, Evaluation & Learning Team Lead, Institute of International Education (IIE), at the Embassy to discuss cooperation on education between Thailand and the U.S. They were joined by Ms. Napamas Panyatrong, Counsellor, and Mrs. Kanoknate Kramer, Embassy’s Educational Assistant.

Both sides discussed about ways and means to promote more Thai students to study in the U.S. and vice versa, internship opportunities for Thai government scholarship students in the U.S., possibilities for more U.S. scholarships for Thai students, educational cooperation frameworks, and possible collaboration to celebrate 190th Anniversary of Thailand-U.S. diplomatic relations together this year.
