On 5 December 2022, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Appointed Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., presented copies of his credentials to the Honorable Ambassador Rufus Gifford, U.S. Chief of Protocol, at the Department of State.

Ambassador Tanee looks forward to working with friends and partners to further strengthen Thailand-U.S. alliance in all aspects, building on the strong foundation of more than 200 years of friendship and leading towards the upcoming celebration of 190 years of diplomatic relations in 2023. He also pledges Thailand’s support for U.S. APEC host year as the U.S. had done for Thailand in 2022.
