On 11 September 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States, accompanied by Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand in New York, and officials from the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. and Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York, hosted a luncheon for Thai students studying in the Boston area.

The event brought together students from several leading academic institutions, including Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Babson College, Brown University and Tufts University.

On this occasion, Ambassador engaged with the students, discussing their academic experiences, personal well-being, and life in the U.S., while encouraging them to stay connected with one another and the Thai community as well as stressed the importance of being a young representative of Thailand in the United States.
