H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., attended the Meeting of Thai Ambassadors and Consuls-General from around the world during 8 – 14 June 2025 in Bangkok where he was assigned to present a report with recommendations to the Prime Minister of Thailand on how to enhance Thailand’s competitiveness in the wake of current global challenges.

The Ambassador also had the opportunity to meet with Mr.Chadchart Sittipunt, the Governor of Bangkok to discuss concrete ways to promote closer relations between the sister cities of Bangkok and Washington D.C. which is the oldest sister city relationship between a Thai city and an American city.
