On 4 April 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., accompanied by officials from the Royal Thai Embassy, visited Atlanta, Georgia.

During the visit, Ambassador Suriya met with Ms. Paige Alexander, CEO of the Carter Center, a non-governmental organization founded by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and First Lady Rosalynn Carter to promote peace, democracy, human rights, and global health.
