On Friday 14 March 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy hosted “The Ambassador’s Meet and Greet with Thai Students in the United States” event at the Royal Thai Embassy, Washington DC.  Over 50 participants including members of the Association of Thai Students in America (ATSA), Thai scholarship students and self-funded Thai students in the United States participated in this informal networking event. 

On this occasion, Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the United States gave  remarks highlighting Thai students’ role as important Embassy’s partners in promoting better understanding and cultural exchanges between Thailand and the United States as well as  encouraging them to take part in Embassy’s cultural activities, especially the “Around the World Embassy Tour” at the Royal Thai Embassy on Saturday, 3 May 2025 and the Thai Festival at the National Mall on Sunday, 14 September 2025.
