The Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. provides registration services for Thai nationals currently residing in the 13 states within its jurisdiction, as follows Alabama, District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and Puerto Rico |
2. General Information |
Royal Thai Embassy provides signature certification services on power of attorney for land and condominium buildings. Applicants can print or download the form below. 2.1 Land power of attorney letter Tor.Dor. 21 2.2 Power of attorney (Land does not have a title deed, Tor. Or. 4) 2.3 Power of attorney (Condominium building A.C. 21) ***Regional/district offices often require the presentation of a certified true copy of the passport issued by the Royal Thai Embassy attached with power of attorney*** ***The Royal Thai Embassy does not certify signatures on incompletely filled-out documents*** ***The Royal Thai Embassy only certifies the signature of the petitioner not certifying any message that appears in the document** |
3. Required documents |
3.1 Fill out the Legalization Application form [Download] 3.2 Notary Public for Signature certification form [Download] which you must sign in front of a Notary Public officer to certify your signature. 3.3 Fill out the power of attorney that you want your signature to be certified. The petitioner must complete one set of details in the power of attorney form (choose to fill out only 1 form as required). -Land power of attorney letter Tor.Dor. 21 -Power of attorney (Land does not have a title deed, Tor. Or. 4) -Power of attorney (Condominium building A.C. 21) 3.4 A copy of the power of attorney or a copy of the above consent letter. 3.5 An original of valid Thai passport or Thai National ID card and a set of copy. Note: If the applicant does not want to send an original Thai passport or a real Thai ID card, a notarized copy of the Thai ID card or Thai passport must be provided, along with a set of copy. |

The fee for certifying a signature on a power of attorney is $15.00 per document. - Payment method: Payment should be made by Money Order or Cashier's Check only, payable to "Royal Thai Embassy." |
6. Submitting Documents and Processing Time: 7 - 10 Business Days |
Please send the documents listed above via mail to the following address and prepare a USPS Post Office Express Mail envelope with postage of $30.45 and address it back to yourself (meter stamp is NOT accepted).
