The Royal Thai Embassy will open an online appointment registration system for individuals wishing to receive a mobile consular service at Wat Buddhananachat of Austin on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM (Eastern Time), and will close registration system when all appointment slots are filled.

- The documents/information required for online appointment registration are 1) Information from the biodata page on Thai passport 2) Information from the Thai national ID card.

- Please note that each appointment slot is limited to one person. Upon successful appointment booking, you will receive an email confirmation immediately from the automated response system, specifying the date and time of your selected appointment, along with a checklist of the required documents to be submitted on the day of your service request.

- In case of Thai passport and Thai national identification card (ID card) have both expired, please ONLY schedule an online appointment for passport renewal. DO NOT schedule an appointment for national ID card renewal because on the day of your service request (if your passport renewal appointment is scheduled successfully), the staff will assist you in renewing your national ID card before processing your passport renewal. However, if you have never had a national ID card, the staff will not be able to issue your first ID card abroad, as the first ID card must be obtained in Thailand only (please refer to the FAQs on applying for a Thai national ID card for more details). In case of Thai passport and Thai national identification card (ID card) are expired or lost for a long time and you're unsure whether you can obtain a new one, please contact the officers before traveling to request services.

- If you have never had an identification card before, the officers will not be able to issue the first card abroad, as it must be obtained in Thailand. (For more details, please refer to the FAQs on applying for a Thai national ID card)

- For special service (for individuals aged 70 years and older, without the need for advance appointment), on January 10, 2025, from 16.00 to 18.00, we kindly ask those who wish to receive services to prepare all necessary documents in advance. If the documents are incomplete, the officers reserve the right to refuse service.

- Those who have confirmed appointments for regular services on February 22 -23, 2025 (Appointment Confirmed), please check and prepare all necessary documents as notified via email, and kindly present yourself with the documents at least 30 minutes before the appointment time.

- Individuals without prior appointments can register for Walk-in services (passport application only) on February 22 - 23, 2025. The registration system will be available from 09.00 to 15.00. The embassy will draw the names to select individuals for Walk-in services at 15.30, limited to 50 people. Walk-in services will commence after the completion of scheduled appointments.

Note: The schedule, date, time, and location for consular services mentioned above may be subject to change based on the suitability of the situation, budget, weather conditions, and requirements of each area. The Royal Thai Embassy will inform you of changes in information in advance, if any.
