The Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C. provides registration services for Thai nationals currently residing in the 13 states within its jurisdiction, as follows

2. Required documents |
1. Fill out the Notary Public for Signature form [Download] which you must sign with the Notary Public officer to certify your signature. 2. Fill out the legalization form [Download] 3. Fill out the form the power attorney form for a minor to travel abroad and obtain a passport [Download]. 4. Fill out the consent letter form for minors to travel abroad and obtain a passport [Download] 5. Copy of Thai National ID Card or Thai passport with valid stamp from a Notary Public, along with certified signature certifying the accuracy of the copy, and provide an additional set of copies. |
3. Legalization Service Fees |
1. The fee for requesting a signature on a power of attorney for a minor to travel abroad and a passport is USD 15.00 each. 2. The fee for requesting signatures on a letter of consent for a minor to travel abroad and obtain a passport is USD 15.00 each. Payment method: Payment is made by Money Order / Cashier’s Check only, made payable to “Royal Thai Embassy” |

In case of submitting a request by mail. It will take approximately 7-10 business days to process. 4.1 Apply by mail: send the documents listed above to – address: Royal Thai Embassy Attn: legalization section 2300 Kalorama Rd. N.W. Washington D.C. 20008 4.2 Receive documents by mail. You must proceed as follows: – Prepare a USPS Post Office Express Mail envelope with a stamp for 30.45 US dollars.
