It does not certify or endorse any statements or content appearing in the document, and will not certify signatures on documents that are incomplete or not fully filled out. *** *** Due to the high volume of applications, the Embassy reserves the right to return all incomplete submissions by mail. Incomplete submissions include, but are not limited to: forms not fully completed, incorrectly completed forms, missing required supporting documents, lack of copies, absence of the required fee, or use of non-standard paper.*** *** Failure to have a Power of Attorney legalized by the Department of Consular Affairs in accordance with the Chain of Legalization may result in rejection by the receiving authority.*** *** The Embassy shall not be responsible for any loss of documents in the mail under any circumstances.***

| 1. Required Documents: In-Person Submission and Collection |

1.1 One (1) completed Legalization Application Form 1.2 One (1) Power of Attorney form, plus one (1) copy 1.4 Original valid Thai National ID Card or Thai Passport, plus two (2) copies *** If you submit your application in person but wish to receive the documents by mail, please provide a self-addressed return envelope with prepaid postage and a tracking number. Acceptable options include United States Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate envelopes. Metered postage (meter stamps) will not be accepted. Please clearly write your name and address on the return envelope. |

2. Required Documents: Submission and Collection by Mail |

2.1 One (1) Notary Public to Notarize Signature form (per Power of Attorney). This document must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public to certify your signature. Please ensure that the Notary Public signs only on the Notary Public to Notarize Signature form. 2.2 If you are unable to submit your original Thai National ID Card or Thai Passport, please have a copy notarized by a Notary Public. In addition, provide two (2) extra copies of the notarized document, each signed to certify true copies. The signature must match the one provided on the Notary Public to Notarize Signature form. 2.3 A self-addressed return envelope with prepaid postage and a tracking number. Acceptable options include United States Postal Service Priority Mail Flat Rate envelopes. Metered postage (meter stamps) will not be accepted. | 3. Service Fees |

Fee: USD 15 per legalization stamp. Payment must be made by Money Order or Cashier’s Check payable to “Royal Thai Embassy”, issued within the past three (3) months only. Cash, personal checks, and credit cards are not accepted. |
| 4. Processing Time |
|
Due to the current high volume of applications, the processing time is approximately 21 business days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Embassy holidays), counted from the date on which complete documentation is received by the Embassy. |
