On 16 October 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., presided over a wreath-laying ceremony to pay homage to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn The Great on the occasion of Chulalongkorn Memorial Day (23 October 2025) at the Royal Thai Embassy. The ceremony was attended by heads of Team Thailand, government officials, and their spouses.

In addition, on 9 October 2025, the Ambassador led Heads of Team Thailand agencies, officials and their spouses, as well as members of the Thai community in Washington, D.C., and the surrounding areas, in a volunteer activity to clean the ordination hall and multi-purpose hall and make merit in honor of His Late Majesty at Wat Dhammapratip, Washington, D.C.
