On 11 September 2025, Ms. Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, delivered welcoming remarks at the Thai Food Business Networking Event co-hosted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., and the Thai Trade Center, New York. The event took place at Sisters Tysons & Flore Café in Virginia.

This event brought together more than 50 participants, including Thai food producers and U.S.-based food importers from the DMV area and the East Coast, restaurant owners, and industry stakeholders for product showcases and business networking. Michelin-starred chefs, namely Chef Chumpol Jangprai, owner of R-HAAN in Bangkok, and Chef Duangporn "Bo" Songvisava, owner of Bo.lan in Bangkok, also joined the event.

This networking event served as a platform for Thai producers and exporters to engage with U.S. food importers, aiming not only to expand business opportunities for Thai food products, but also to promote Thailand’s gastronomy tourism. This event was held in conjunction with the Sawasdee DC Thai Festival on 14 September 2025 at the National Mall, where the Thai celebrity chefs showcased authentic Thai culinary experiences.
