On 1 May 2025, Ambassador Suriya Chindawongse hosted a luncheon for Thai students from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles to promote closer ties, follow up on the well-being of Thai students in the area, and provide support, guidance, and encouragement for their academic pursuits and preparation for professional careers.

 

The informal and friendly atmosphere allowed students to engage in open discussions and share their thoughts and experiences directly with the Ambassador and the team from both the Royal Thai Embassy and the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Los Angeles. Participating students shared their suggestions and concerns, and discussed ways in which the Embassy and Consulate could more effectively support Thai students. On this occasion, the Ambassador also offered practical advice on preparing for future careers.
