On 30 March 2025, Mr. Kobboon Sangmanee, Minister Counselor and Mr. Vasu Srivarathonbul, Counselor and Head of Consular Section, represented the Royal Thai Embassy at the opening of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival at Wat Tummaprateip in Washington, D.C.

On this occasion, the Minister Counselor presided over religious ceremonies, including alms offering and Buddhist chanting. He also delivered closing remarks to commend and congratulate participants of the annual Dhamma workshop organized by the Dhammayut Order in the United States. He took this opportunity to highlight the essence and benefits of mindfulness in everyday life.
