On Sunday, 23 March 2025, H.E. Dr. Suriya Chindawongse, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S., presided over the opening ceremony of NVA Thai Street Food & Culture Festival 2025, accompanied by Ms. Chuliepote Isarankura Na Ayudhaya, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission, along with Embassy’s officials. 

On this occasion, the Ambassador welcomed Thai and American participants and emphasized the longstanding Thailand-U.S. relations spanning over 192 years, as well as the significance of cultural festivals like this serve as a vital mechanism in strengthening ties and fostering mutual understanding between the people of both nations.

The NVA Thai Street Food & Culture Festival, now in its second year, takes place at the Manassas Museum in Virginia from March to November 2025. The festival showcases Thai cuisine, products, and cultural heritage, promoting greater awareness and appreciation of Thai food and traditions. Recognized as the largest Thai festival in Northern Virginia, this year’s event will expand beyond Manassas to also include festivals in Annandale and Loudoun.
