During 12 - 14 June 2026, the Consular Section of the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., led by Ms. Penprapa Poomarin, Minister Counsellor, provided consular services at Wat Florida Dhammaram in Kissimmee, Florida. The mission aimed to facilitate access to consular services for Thai nationals residing in Florida and nearby states.
The services provided included issuance of new passports, renewal of national identification cards, and submission of applications for birth and death certificates, as well as consultations on other consular matters, including legalization of documents and powers of attorney.
On 12 June 2026, a special walk-in service was arranged for senior citizens aged 60 years and above, allowing eligible applicants to receive services without prior appointment.
This mission is the sixth mobile consular service operation of the Fiscal Year 2026. It was successfully carried out with the support and cooperation of Wat Florida Dhammaram, members of the temple committee and local volunteers.
A total of 341 individuals received the services, including 173 passport renewals and 122 renewals of national identification cards, as well as 46 cases of birth and death certificates applications and consultations on legalization and civil registration documents.
