On April 26, 2026, Mr. Jak Sangchai, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Washington, D.C., represented the Embassy at the opening ceremony of the NVA Thai Street Food & Culture Festival 2026 in Manassas, Virginia.

Held under the theme “Welcome to Thailand,” the event aimed at promoting Thailand and fostering greater understanding about the Thai culture among American people. It featured a wide range of Thai products, food and beverages, as well as cultural performances including traditional Thai dance and Muay Thai.
